Seventh Annual Bohannon Annual Charity Golf Tournament            

 The Bohannon Group was excited to sponsor their 7th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, which included a captain’s scramble, silent auction and dinner program.

This year’s event was again located at Mendakota Country Club in Mendota Heights, MN. There were 128 golfers, 19 sponsors and more than 60 live and silent auction items donated by roughly 40 donors present at the Seventh Annual Bohannon Group Charity Golf Tournament.  We would like extend our gratitude to all who played an avid role in helping to raise more than $52,000 for Childrens Cancer Research Fund!

The Bohannon Group Combines Passion with Community Involvement 

In addition to the Annual Charity Golf Tournament, the Bohannon Group and its Financial Representatives annually join forces with "Final Stretch" (www.finalstretch.com)—combining a love for running and a commitment to community service. Over the past five years, the Bohannon Group has helped Final Stretch raise over $102,000 for Childrens Cancer Research. This partnership allows Financial Representatives, their families and friends to participate in the various races set up by Final Stretch to not only focus on a healthy style of living, but to give back to the community as well.  In partnership with Final Stretch, the Bohannon Group presented a check to Childrens Cancer Research for $1 for each runner on selected events - totaling over three thousand dollars last year. Please take a look at a complete album of photos:photos.bohannongroupfoundation.org/GalleryThumbnails.aspx

 

The Golpher to Badger Race Half Marathon and 5K

This year the Bohannon Group was proud to be the platinum sponsor for the Golpher to Badger race half marathon and 5k which was held Saturday, August 14, 2010 and began in historic downtown Stillwater, MN and continued along the beautiful St. Croix River ending in the pristine Lake Front Park in Hudson, WI.

For every Northwestern Mutual employee, friend or referred runner, $5 of the registration fee will go towards The Bohannon Group Foundation. http://www.bohannongroupfoundation.org/gopher.html
